प्रस्तावना

तक्षशिला एजुकेशनल सोसाइटी द्वारा लेखक, विधिवेत्ता, राजनीतिक, सांस्कृतिक एवं सामाजिक कार्यकर्ता श्री फणीश सिंह की स्मृति में सालाना पुस्तकवृत्ति (1 लाख प्रति माह) की स्थापना प्रस्तावित है। श्री फणीश सिंह तक्षशिला एजुकेशनल सोसाइटी के संस्थापक सदस्य थे।

यह वृत्ती हिन्दी में उत्कृष्ट लेखन को प्रोत्साहित करने के उद्देश्य से स्थापित की जा रही है और यह किसी एक भारतीय अथवा गैर भारतीय लेखक को हिन्दी में मौलिक पुस्तक लिखने के लिए प्रदान की जाएगी। पुस्तक वृत्ति, सांस्कृतिक, राजनैतिक, सामाजिक विषयों, विचारों, स्थापनाओं, जीवन शैली, जीवन वृत्त आदि विषयों पर कथेतर, मौलिक शोध एवं लेखन कार्य के लिए प्रदान की जाएगी। राजनीतिक, सामाजिक, सांस्कृतिक आंदोलनों, संस्थाओं, राजनीतिक दलों के इतिहास (जीवन) से संबंधित प्रस्ताव में हमारी विशेष रुचि है।साहित्यिक आलोचना संबंधी विषय इस योजना में शामिल नहीं किए जा रहे हैं। अपेक्षा है कि इस वृत्ति के माध्यम से लिखी गई पुस्तकों से विशेषकर 1947 के बाद के भारतीय जीवन के बारे में हमारी समझ और समृद्ध हो सके।

पुस्तक वृत्ति की पात्रता के लिए आवेदन

• लेखक को अपनी प्रविष्टि शामिल कराने के लिए निर्धारित तिथि तक एक आवेदन ईमेल द्वारा fellowship@takshila.net पर भेजना होगा ।
• आवेदन के साथ अपने अब तक के काम का विवरण देना होगा और 5000 शब्दों में पुस्तक संबंधी योजना का प्रस्ताव (सिनाप्सिस) विचारार्थ संलग्न करना होगा।
• आवेदन, हिन्दी अथवा अंग्रेजी में प्रस्तावित करना होगा ।

पुस्तक वृत्ति की पात्रता के लिए आवेदन

• प्राप्त आवेदनों की शॉर्टलिस्टिंग की जाएगी और चुनी हुई प्रविष्टियों के लेखकों को ईमेल द्वारा सूचित किया जाएगा।
• पुस्तक लिखने के लिये एक वर्ष (अप्रैल से मार्च ) का समय निर्धारित होगा।
• दिसम्बर के पहले हप्ते में पुस्तक वृत्ति की घोषणा कर दी जाएगी।
• पुस्तक वृत्ति की निर्धारित राशि- 100,000 रुपए प्रति माह में से 70,000 रुपए लेखक को पुस्तक लिखने के दौरान प्रति माह दिए जाएंगे और शेष बची राशि पुस्तक लिख लेने के बाद प्रदान की जाएगी।
• अंतिम रूप में एक स्वतंत्र समीक्षा समिति द्वारा पुनः आकलन के बाद ही पुस्तक का प्रकाशन संभव होगा।
• पुस्तक के आरंभ में पुस्तक वृत्ती संबंधित जानकारी देना आवश्यक होगा।
• पुस्तक वृत्ति का यह मंच सभी लेखकों के लिये खुला है।
• प्रविष्टि भेजने के लिये किसी भी प्रकार के धर्म/लिंग/जाति अथवा अन्य किस्म की बाध्यता नहीं है। लेखकों को उम्र की सीमा में भी नहीं बांधा गया है। किसी भी उम्र के लेखक अपनी प्रविष्टि भेज सकते हैं ।
• प्रविष्टियों की स्वीकृति के लिये किसी भी प्रकार का दबाव, अथवा अनुशंसा को प्रोत्साहित नहीं किया जाएगा।यदि ऐसा प्रयास किसी लेखक या उसके संबंधी / मित्र आदि द्वारा किया जाएगा तो वह प्रविष्टि अस्वीकार कर दी जाएगी।
• पुस्तक चयन की प्रक्रिया के लिए एक स्थायी जूरी का गठन किया गया है।
• प्रविष्टि संबंधित निर्णय लेने को जूरी पूरी तरह स्वतंत्र होगी।
• वर्ष भर चलने वाली चयन की सम्पूर्ण प्रक्रिया स्वतंत्र, नितांत पारदर्शी एवं न्यायपूर्ण तरीके से संचालित होगी।

The All India Art Students Camp, organised by Takshila Educational Society, is an intensive, process-driven programme dedicated to Master’s students working in Printmaking and Ceramics. Conceived as a space for focused exploration, the camp brings together emerging practitioners from across India within a shared environment of making, dialogue, and critical engagement.
The programme foregrounds material inquiry and hands-on practice. Participants engage closely with techniques, processes, and forms, while also reflecting on the conceptual frameworks that shape contemporary artistic production.
The camp encourages collaboration and exchange across institutions and disciplines. Through studio-based work, peer interactions, and informal discussions, participants encounter diverse approaches to making and thinking, allowing for new connections and perspectives to emerge organically.
A key aspect of the programme is its emphasis on mentorship. Each participant receives focused feedback and guidance on their ongoing practice, enabling a deeper understanding of their methods, materials, and artistic direction. This sustained engagement supports both technical refinement and conceptual clarity.
Designed as a fully supported residential programme, the camp provides all necessary materials, equipment, accommodation, and meals, allowing participants to immerse themselves entirely in the creative process without logistical interruptions.
At its core, the All India Art Students Camp functions not merely as a workshop, but as a temporary studio ecology—one where ideas are tested, forms are negotiated, and practices are quietly, yet decisively, transformed.

Katha Shivir is an annual residential programme at Parivartan, Bihar, that brings together writers, artists, journalists, and thinkers to engage with a central theme each year. While the programme retains its core identity as Katha Shivir, each edition is shaped by a distinct thematic focus—guiding the nature of inquiry, conversation, and creative output.
Set within a rural context, Katha Shivir offers participants an immersive environment to engage with lived realities beyond urban frameworks. Through field visits, conversations, shared discussions, and independent work, participants are encouraged to respond to the theme in ways that are reflective, critical, and deeply personal.
Over the course of the residency, participants develop original pieces of writing or creative work informed by their experiences and observations. These works are often brought together in a collective publication, extending the life of the Shivir into a broader public discourse.
Katha Shivir is not structured as a conventional workshop or training programme. Instead, it functions as a space for sustained thinking—one that values slowness, attentiveness, and dialogue. With each edition, the programme opens new questions while remaining grounded in its commitment to storytelling, inquiry, and engagement with the complexities of contemporary India.
