Opportunity to work with ‘Parivartan’

‘Parivartan’, literally meaning ‘change’, is a village-based organisation under Takshila Educational Society, which has a presence in different states of India – Bihar, Punjab, Maharashtra and Tamilnadu. The goal of ‘Parivartan’ is to catalyse social transformation using education, technology, cultural activities and health services, which are its main activities. ‘Parivartan’ seeks to unleash people’s constructive potential into strong agencies and enterprises.

‘Parivaratan’ is looking for committed professionals to join its transformational voyage. Motivated individuals who have ideas and commitment to work in the rural areas are invited to apply to work as Field Coordinators and Spearhead Leaders for different programmes covering education, health, entrepreneurship, gender empowerment and livelihoods, including agriculture. Presently, we shall need One Field Coordinator and Two Spearhead Leaders.

Persons applying for these posts should have adequate professional qualifications in the above and other interfacing areas. Knowledge of modern IT-based operations and communication systems would also be necessarily required. Work experience of at least three years for Field Coordinator would be preferred. Intensive travel and field stays are foreseen as the present job demands.

The place of work will be at Vill. Narendrapur, Jiradei, Distt. Siwan, which is approx. 150 Kms. from Patna ( Capital of Bihar ) and 16 Kms. from Siwan ( District Headquarters ) where single accommodation will be provided, besides a modest support system to allow effective working. Financial and non-financial compensation would be offered depending upon qualifications, experience and freshness of ideas and mutually agreeable conditions.

Takshila Educational Society, formed in 1997, in collaboration with Delhi Public Schools Society established its first Delhi Public School at Patna in 1998, followed by Delhi Public Schools at Pune in 2003, at Ludhiana in 2004, and at Coimbatore in 2012.
